按照万国邮联117号代码列表的划分方式，函件范畴内与信件（LC）相对的是非信件类函件（AO）。二者不仅被广泛用于万国邮联公约及技术标准中[4]，而且也是编制国际邮件总包代码规则的重要组成部分。
